Contemporary art at Château Sainte Roseline
At Château Sainte Roseline, contemporary art enters into dialogue with heritage and vineyard landscapes, offering visitors a unique cultural experience in the heart of Provence.
For many years, Château Sainte Roseline has maintained a strong connection with contemporary art. Within the Bertin-Meunier-Teillaud family, art is much more than a passion: it is a true way of life.
For nearly twenty-five years, the Château has welcomed established artists every summer, offering visitors a unique encounter between wine, heritage and artistic creation. Since 2007, when Aurélie Bertin became the owner of the estate, this tradition has continued with the desire to bring together her passion for art and her passion for wine.
A true patron of the arts, Aurélie Bertin welcomes works by renowned artists to the estate and organises exhibitions of monumental sculptures. During a stroll through the vineyards or the gardens of Château Sainte Roseline, visitors can discover works and sculptures by Arik Levy, Jean Dubuffet, Joan Miró, Barry Flanagan, Jaume Plensa, Stéphane Guiran and many other contemporary artists.
This artistic walk invites visitors to discover the estate from a different perspective, in an exceptional natural and heritage setting, where the artworks engage in dialogue with the landscapes of Provence and the Château’s winegrowing universe.
Practical information
Access to the contemporary artworks is free in the areas of the estate open to the public.
To further enrich this discovery, the estate trail offers the opportunity to admire selected works from the family collection, displayed in dialogue with the Château’s landscapes.
Each summer, this special relationship with contemporary creation also comes to life through a temporary exhibition. This season, Château Sainte Roseline is showcasing the artist Eva Claessens.
