Contemporary Art Exhibition - Eva Claessens

Throughout the summer, Château Sainte Roseline presents the works of contemporary artist Eva Claessens in an open-air exhibition entitled “Le Baiser d'une Rose”. Bringing together ten monumental marble sculptures, the exhibition explores the notion of connection: the bond that unites people with one another, as well as the more subtle link that connects us to nature.
Through forms imbued with softness and fragility, Eva Claessens captures suspended moments in which bodies draw closer, embrace, and at times seem to merge into one another. Marble becomes the witness to a universal gesture: that of an embrace. Through their presence—both powerful and delicate—the sculptures invite each visitor to project their own emotions and interpretations onto the works.
Installed throughout the estate’s gardens, along the avenue leading to the Sainte Roseline Chapel and near the boutique, the sculptures engage in a dialogue with the trees, the light, and the Provençal landscape.
Visitors are invited to enjoy an artistic stroll filled with discoveries, offering a moment of contemplation and reconnection—with oneself, with others, and with the living world.
