Château Sainte Roseline, Cru Classé de Provence, unveils its latest creation resulting from the incredible collaboration with the iconic pop artist Kylie Minogue : the cuvée Kylie Minogue Cru Classé, a great gastronomic rosé. Developed by the oenologist of Château Sainte Roseline from a strict plot selection and produced in limited quantities, this exclusive cuvée is the perfect combination of elegance and pep.
Kylie Minogue and Aurélie Bertin, the combination of art and wine
In October 2021, Kylie Minogue went to the estate to meet the teams. This stay officially sealed the beginning of this superb collaboration which will last 5 years and raises Château Sainte Roseline to the rank of the most glamorous estates.
It all started in 2017 in Nashville, Tennessee when Kylie Minogue, exhausted by her very intense studio days, collapsed in the armchair of her hotel bar and ordered a rosé from Provence. Charmed by this fresh and pleasant wine, the idea of producing it begins to germinate in her mind and will eventually come to fruition thanks to a chance meeting. It is, in fact, in London where she resides a good part of the year that Kylie meets Paul Schaafsma, an expert and importer of wines for the company Benchmark Drinks. He then opened the doors to the world of wine and introduced him to many Italian and French winegrowers, including Aurélie Bertin and Patrick Pouvatchy, World Sales Manager of Château Sainte Roseline.
In 2020 Kylie finally launches her own brand : Kylie Minogue Wines !
Like music, where it is essential to surround yourself with the best musicians and composers, Kylie Minogue is convinced that the same is true for the world of wine. It is therefore quite natural that the choice of the artist with 100 million albums sold turned to Aurélie Bertin and Château Sainte Roseline to create a superb rosé from Provence.
Enjoying an exceptional location in Les Arcs-sur Argent on the Côte d'Azur, Château Sainte Roseline is one of the most renowned wine estates in Provence. Since 1955, it has been one of the rare Crus Classés of Côtes de Provence and covers 160 hectares, 110 of which are vines. It also houses the Communal Chapel of Sainte Roseline dating from the 12th century and listed as a Historic Monument, as well as the 12th century Cloister.
Since 2007, when she became the owner of Château Sainte Roseline and Château des Demoiselles, Aurélie Bertin has never ceased to combine her second passion, art, with that of wine. A true patron, each year it welcomes works by established artists to its properties and organizes exhibitions of monumental sculptures. Her collaboration with the pop artist therefore perpetuates the special link she maintains with art and allows Château Sainte Roseline to establish in France and abroad its image which is modern, audacious and resolutely turned towards the future. 'Art' (Aurélie Bertin).
