Looking Back On A Year Full Of Csr Successes
THE ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT OF CHÂTEAU SAINTE ROSELINE : LOOKING BACK ON A YEAR RICH IN SUCCESS
OBTAINING THE ENGAGED VIGNERONS LABEL AND ISO 26000 CERTIFICATION

In April 2021, Château Sainte Roseline Cru Classé is labeled Vignerons Engagés and certified ISO 26000 level confirmed by AFNOR. ISO 26000 certification is essential for companies that are committed to operating in a socially responsible manner. Since 2017, many actions have been carried out by the domain related, for example, to the eco-design of products such as the use of lighter bottles or the use of recyclable materials, or the respect of parity (50% of employees are women).
Obtaining a CSR label is essential for Aurélie Bertin who is convinced that " within 10 years, the consumer for whom not only the environment but also the consideration of the human being in the company counts, will not buy any more non-labelled wine ”. The first CSR label in the wine sector, obtaining the Vignerons Engagés label is the guarantee of a sincere desire to place sustainable development at the heart of the estates' projects and commitments.
RECEIVING THE “COUP DE CŒUR” AWARD FOR THE PACA TRANSITIONS AND CSR TROPHIES
In December 2021, the favorite prize of the Transitions and CSR Trophies is awarded to Château Sainte Roseline. Among the many actions implemented, the reduction of water consumption by 30% is particularly welcomed, especially since it is the initiative of a working group of employees who were asked for their opinion on the issue, thus demonstrating the undeniable commitment of the teams in the field.
Château Sainte Roseline has also set up a “live my life” program consisting of becoming aware of everyone’s workload. This approach has, for example, enabled a secretary from the administration to travel around the vineyard in a tractor and to become aware of the difficulty of the tractor operator's job on a daily basis.

WINNER OF THE VERALLIA FUND AND WINEGROWERS COMMITTED TO THE MYCOVIGNE PROJECT
In 2021, the Vignerons Engagés collective and Verallia launched a call for projects to financially support projects in favor of a sustainable and resilient wine sector. Château Sainte Roseline of course participated and presented its subject on “ Mycorrhization in response to water stress and reduction of inputs ”.

Carried out in collaboration with MYCOPHYTO, the Centre du Rosé and Crédit Agricole PACA, this innovative project was a resounding success since the estate, represented by Fabien Lacombe, Director of Operations, was awarded the Laureate prize at the SITEVI fair in Montpellier last December.
2022, A GOOD YEAR IN PERSPECTIVE
In February 2022, Château Sainte Roseline won the RSE Var Trophies awarded by the UPV (Union Patronale du Var). The UPV, in partnership with the CCIV, has been organizing the RSE Var Trophies for 12 years to enable companies in the department to promote their responsible practices.
All these awards are the fruit of the work of the teams who strive each year to offer quality products and services while preserving the environment as much as possible. The admirable actions implemented by Aurélie Bertin and her teams at Château Sainte Roseline are a reflection of her commitment to continue improving viticultural techniques with respect for the environment, preserving natural resources, reducing energy consumption and adapting practices, managerial in order to involve its teams in the CSR approach.
